McKnight hires receptionist/administrative assistant
The McKnight Foundation has hired Julia Johnson as receptionist/administrative assistant. She joined the foundation staff in December.
Prior to McKnight, Johnson spent six years as housing manager for Ecumen, an innovative leader in the field of senior housing and services. Previously, she worked for five years at Independent School District #282 in St. Anthony, Minnesota; as a nursing assistant providing hands-on home patient care; and as owner and manager of her own vending supply business.
Although she’s livedseveral places in the U.S. and abroad, Julia has called Minnesota home for the past 30 years. A graduate of Willesden High School in London, England, Johnson was certified in 2006 as an assisted housing manager by the Minnesota Health and Housing Alliance. In 2013, she completed professional development training at Twin Cities RISE!, an organization providing a comprehensive work skills training program and a McKnight grantee.
