McKnight receives "Great Rated" designation from Great Place to Work Institute

August 8, 2014

Great Rated LogoThe McKnight Foundation today received a Great Rated! designation from the Great Place to Work Institute, based on a staff-wide survey of McKnight employees.

The rating highlights what makes McKnight's workplace culture great in areas like professional development and training, company atmosphere, benefits and rewards, among others.

"Great Rated!'s employee-centric reviews provide job seekers a real behind-the-scenes look into these workplace cultures. They are deeply rooted in a philosophy of openness and reflect the general trend we see in the increasing importance of transparency for both employers and employees." said Kim Peters, CEO, Great Rated!

"Being part of a team dedicated to improving major quality of life issues impacting their communities isn't the only reward for working at The McKnight Foundation," says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Great Rated!'s vice-president and senior editor. "Employees are extremely inspired by their mission, but also love their beautiful office setting on the Mississippi River, unilaterally praise their benefits, and appreciate the investment the organization makes in their professional development and work-life balance. Ninety-seven percent of employees say McKnight is a great workplace."
