Com grande entusiasmo, anunciamos que Erin Imon Gavin \u00e9 a nova Chefe de Gabinete da McKnight. Erin assumiu o cargo em 6 de outubro, ap\u00f3s transferir com sucesso a lideran\u00e7a da GroundBreak Coalition para o CEO Adair Mosley.<\/p>\n

Uma carreira baseada em educa\u00e7\u00e3o e impacto<\/h3>\n

Erin iniciou sua jornada na McKnight em 2013 como oficial de programa, onde liderou nossa Iniciativa Pathway Schools, um esfor\u00e7o multiparceiro focado em alfabetiza\u00e7\u00e3o, lideran\u00e7a e ensino em escolas de Twin Cities. Al\u00e9m dessa iniciativa, ela elaborou estrat\u00e9gias-chave para recrutar e apoiar a for\u00e7a de trabalho de educadores da primeira inf\u00e2ncia de Minnesota e elevar as vozes das fam\u00edlias e comunidades nas pol\u00edticas educacionais.<\/p>\n

Nos \u00faltimos anos, ela ajudou a alinhar estrat\u00e9gias de programas em toda a Funda\u00e7\u00e3o e liderou iniciativas de alto impacto, como a GroundBreak Coalition, um grupo intersetorial de mais de 40 institui\u00e7\u00f5es filantr\u00f3picas, privadas e p\u00fablicas que mobiliza bilh\u00f5es para expandir oportunidades de gera\u00e7\u00e3o de riqueza para moradores de Twin Cities, come\u00e7ando com propriet\u00e1rios de im\u00f3veis, empreendedores e desenvolvedores comerciais negros.<\/p>\n

Antes de ingressar na Funda\u00e7\u00e3o, Erin trabalhou nas Escolas P\u00fablicas do Brooklyn Center como professora e intervencionista em alfabetiza\u00e7\u00e3o. Ela \u00e9 bacharel pelo Carleton College, mestre em pol\u00edtica e gest\u00e3o educacional pela Universidade Harvard e doutora em lideran\u00e7a e pol\u00edtica educacional do ensino fundamental e m\u00e9dio pela Universidade Vanderbilt.<\/p>\n

A carreira de Erin se concentrou em aprendizado, equidade e mudan\u00e7a de sistemas, e ela traz esses mesmos compromissos como chefe de gabinete.<\/p>\n
