Iweda Riddley joined McKnight in September 2023 as a program team administrator for grants and program operations, the team that provides the grantmaking and program operations structure, resources, and expertise needed to advance overall program results. Iweda provides administrative and operations support to the Vibrant & Equitable Communities program team, including scheduling, meeting logistics, and contracts and expense management. She takes pride in her talents for problem-solving, adaptability, and collaboration.

Iweda’s dedication to advancing social justice shines through in her over twenty years of experience in business and finance management, human resources, community outreach, and advocacy. Most recently, Iweda was the finance manager for the National Council of Jewish Women Minnesota, where she oversaw operations, accounting, and budgets for the organization. Prior to that, Iweda held a variety of integral administrative and program management roles with Twin Cities organizations providing employment, training, housing, legal, and counseling services to women, youth, and families.

Iweda has a bachelor of science in business administration from National American University, as well as a mini MBA in nonprofit management from the University of St. Thomas. Originally from Texas, she lives in North Minneapolis with her children and grandchildren, and enjoys reading, working out, and playing Bingo.
