Brew Davis joined McKnight in May 2022 as program team administrator for grant and program operations, the team responsible for grantmaking and operations structure, administration, and resources to enhance program results. Brew provides administrative and operations support to the Midwest Climate & Energy program, including scheduling, meeting logistics, and contracts and expense management.
Prior to McKnight, Brew worked at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits as a nonprofit services assistant. In that role, they connected their 2,240 members to resources, including legal advice, board management tools, finance information, fundraising options, and more. Before that, they worked in the arts, both locally with Rosy Simas Danse, and internationally at the Zurich Film Festival.
Brew has a bachelor’s degree in public speaking and performing arts from Augsburg University in Minneapolis. They are committed to trans liberation in all aspects of life, such as sports inclusion and access to joy and safety. They live in north Minneapolis with their partner and two pets. Depending on the time of year, you can catch Brew curling with their all-LGBTQ curling team, sewing and crafting, climbing, or reading science fiction.
