Fund III: $7.5 million; originated in 2017

Fund IV: $10 million; originated in 2022

Rationale

TGC’s most recent fund builds and operates projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Their investments help industry participants save money on electricity, thus creating new business support for renewables. The fund’s impacts map directly onto McKnight’s Midwest Climate & Energy program goals to decarbonize the power sector.
