Caroline Taiwo joined McKnight in August 2022 as an Arts & Culture Program Officer and was promoted to Senior Program Officer in 2026. In this role, Caroline provides strategic leadership across the Arts & Culture program, helping connect strategy across portfolios, partner with colleagues across the Foundation, and strengthen how Arts & Culture shows up internally and in the field.
Caroline continues to maintain and develop relationships with grantee partners and intermediary funders, manage significant grant portfolios, and actively collaborate with McKnight programs, investments, and operations teams to advance and strengthen the creativity, power, and leadership of Minnesota’s working artists and culture bearers.
Prior to McKnight, Caroline worked at Springboard for the Arts, where she was the inaugural director of economic opportunity. There she led equity‑based programming to provide artists, cultural practitioners, and creative entrepreneurs with broader access to career development resources, business technical assistance, and capital.
